NSD CO., LTD. is engaged in the development of a variety of security countermeasures to help information service companies that handle a broad spectrum of information fulfill the most important of social responsibilities. In this context, the Company acquired PrivacyMark accreditation in connection with the protection of personal information in 2002.
Currently, NSD is taking steps to develop a personal information protection management system compliant with the 2006 edition of JIS Q 15001. Moving forward, NSD will further bolster its personal information protection endeavors as a part of efforts to garner the trust and confidence of society and customers.

Information Security Management System (ISMS) Certification

Information Security Management System (ISMS) Certification
The implementation of security measures for information assets is one of the most important issues to NSD. NSD acquired ISO/IEC 27001, the international standard for Information Security Management System in 2012. NSD is committed to exerting every effort to fully satisfy customers' needs and to win their firm confidence by having established the more improved information security system.

Note : Systems Department 4, Social Infrastructure Business Division, Industrial & Social Solution Business Unit acquired ISO/IEC 27001.

Appraised at CMMI Level 3

Appraised at CMMI Level 3

CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) is a process improvement maturity model developed by the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. This is known as one of the worldwide standards to measure the ability of software development.
In September 2012, Industrial Business Division 1 and Technology & Process Engineering Department were officially appraised and they achieved Level 2 of the CMMI (CMMI Version 1.3).
Following this achievement, in July 2014, Industrial Business Division, Technology & Process Engineering Department, and Quality Control Department achieved Level 3. Because the tern of validity is 3 years, the division and departments above achieved level 3 in July 2017 again.
NSD will endeavor to provide "Quality" that satisfies our customers through the improvement of software quality and productivity.

The U.S.-based The Project Management Institute (PMI) ®certifies institutions that are capable of issuing PDU required to maintain Project Management Professional (PMP)® qualification as "Registered Education Providers (R.E.P.)".
We were registered as a R.E.P. in 2007. We perform various project management training and have been working on the skill improvement of the employee.

NSD is registered as the outstanding organization under " 2018 Certified Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organization Recognition Program" managed by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
NSD promotes "health and productivity management" and "work style reforms" through various measures such as the adoption of the NSD health point system utilizing our original application "CAReNA". These measures has been recognized as outstanding organization engaging in strategic health and productivity management program measures for maintaining our employees' health from a management perspective.
NSD is striving to maximize the abilities of employee by promoting health enhancement measures and offering a comfortable working environment.

Next Generation Accreditation Mark
Amid a growing diversity in working methods and styles, the need for companies to place greater emphasis on ensuring work-life balance (an optimal mix between workplace commitments and personal lifestyles) is becoming increasingly evident. As one example, companies are being called on to provide comfortable workplace environments that also allow employees to attend to necessary child- and nursing-care needs.
With a focus on supporting employees in their efforts to raise a family while pursuing a career, NSD is actively engaged in a variety of activities including the provision of assistance and information to staff on maternity and child care leave, the promotion of wide-ranging programs in good faith as well as the compilation and distribution of maternity and child-care support manuals. As a result of these endeavors, the Company has acquired the "Kurumin*" Next Generation Support Certification Logo since 2008.

Note: Kurumin: An accreditation by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare bestowed on companies and organization that meet certain requirements with respect to child care and related employee support.
